Book Review: The Great Gatsby

Halfway through and I don’t even care anymore. I’ll read the synopsis for the rest. If I want to read about shiftless rich people and their drunken machinations, I'll read the Hollywood Reporter or TMZ.com.

My thoughts?

Characters were less than engaging- I could give two cents for any of them. All right, maybe five cents for Nick Carraway, the narrator, but that's about it. Ultimately, depressing and boring.

Why this is still required reading, I simply cannot fathom...
